Technically it’s a mount, but who’s keeping track? The Super Mario Odyssey vehicle lists gets an addition with this mountable Sphinx named “Ride-on bus”.
We’ve been aware of other means of transports in Super Mario Odyssey – mainly in New Donk City. However, not much has been shown of what Mario is capable of in other worlds. Today we get a screenshot of Mario riding on the back of a Sphinx in the Sand Kingdom. The Japanese name given here is “ridon bus” which can be interpreted as”ride-on bus”, and that’s about as far as it goes.
Mario’s handled a lot of beasts in his time, but this is his first time with a Sphinx. Have a read below to see what you’ll be able to do.
In the Sand Kingdom, the regular means of transport is the 「Ride-on Bus」。
With a prepaid system using Coins, you can temporarily ride on it’s back – accelerate at full throttle with all your power, and enjoy the ups and downs of the harsh desert!
