In case you missed it – the Splatoon 2 developers added player name markers to matchmaking. Here’s a nice screenshot showing it off.
This QOL addition was implemented in the first test-fire. Neat!
先行試射会ですでにお気づきの方もいるかもしれないが、頭の上の名前表示も少し変化し、やられてしまったイカの名前にはバツ印が付くようになったようだ。
相手のイカもやられた時には名前が表示されるようになった。

In the previous test-fire, you may have already noticed, however, there was a change to the names above players heads – Squid Kids that were taken out had their names marked over with an X. When your teammates are taken out, their name now becomes marked. It’s a simple change but, now you can know the outcome of battles that occur behind obstacles.
