The ARMS Story DLC hints continue – scientists at the ARMS Lab have been hard at work on modifications to the Hedlok equipment, but for what purpose? Has Hedlok been added as an in-game item?
Biff has posted abrupt and grainy footage from the ARMS Lab again today, hinting at a new game mode and ARMS Story DLC with this weeks update.
The ARMS Lab Reports have been implying heavily that a Hedlok experiment went awfully wrong. However, these video messages seem to suggest that Fighters will be able to use Hedlok for their own personal enjoyment. What gives?
From the ARMS Lab comes a follow up report!
“As per usual, here’s a continuation of our under development project. Until it’s delivered; well, the schedule is in 2 days.
However – though The Chairman was able to withstand it, the mental burden it left was large. Hence, in order to keep everybody smiling, we’ve prepared a time limit for use.
This should provide Fighters with a supreme experience…” a-ah, right?
So…nothing to worry about?

Based on this video, it looks as if Hedlok can be equipped by players in a game mode, and used for a short amount of time (hence the gauge and reference to the time limit).
Hedlok being added as an item is almost guaranteed, though the story implications are now larger than ever. The last sentence is quite foreboding – we’ll have the answer when Ver.2 releases this Wednesday.
Be afraid Biff.
