Nintendo are linking Social Networking Services (SNS) to Splatoon 2 with player designed posts and banners – that appear in game.
Why pay for a marketing campaign when you can let your players do it for you? It’s not a bad idea – and Nintendo are taking it all the way with this latest implementation with Splatoon 2 and SNS.
pic.twitter.com/hVIZe2s161— Splatoon(スプラトゥーン) (@SplatoonJP) July 6, 2017
From the start of the Splatfest until the end, you can now Splatfest Post.
Linking your personal Twitter and Facebook account, you can now post support for your faction using your screen at Social Network Services (SNS). Posts will appear as messages of support for your faction – during the Splatfest, you can decorate your high-class square.
No doubt this will lead to some pretty sweet LINE campaigns and stickers. Curious as to what that item that little green blob is holding though.
Per the below – it looks like Splatoon Posting didn’t die as part of the shut-down of MiiVerse! Amateur artists worldwide now rejoice.
なお、前夜祭では「フェス投稿」しかできないが、製品版ではフェス開催期間以外にも投稿ができ、投稿した画像は、ハイカラスクエアやバトルステージに反映されることがある。

While you can’t post on the Eve of the Splatfest, you can post once it starts – and your posts will appear as a portrait held by your character, as well as being displayed on battle stages.
Your publications will require linking with a Twitter or Facebook account, so please attain one if you’d like to try.
