Last week, KOEI Tecmo unveiled the first dialogue exchange voted by fans for Fire Emblem Warriors. Today, the second most popular pair Chrom and Ryoma are in the spotlight. It’s a slight dispute over who’s going to win the next practice match.

Ryoma: However, by battling repeatedly in this way, I’m starting to slightly see your sword skills come to life. So far these have been very equal matches – you just might win the next one.
Chrom: Huh? Just like that! My body is starting to get used to your Hoshido Style skills. At first I was perplexed and unfamiliar with your structure, but now, no matter how many times you come at me I’ll be able to deal with it!
Ryoma: Is that so? My first hand at the Ylisse style, yet despite this, I’ve already seen it all!

For those interested, here’s the Japanese transcript. This is fairly anime-style speech so it can be a bit tricky to properly understand – especially that last sentence.
リョウマ： しかし、こうして手合わせを重ねるうちに、お前の剣筋が少し見えるようになってきた。これまではずっと互角の勝負だったが、次はお前に勝てるかもしれんな。
クロム： なに？そうはいくか！俺だって白夜流の剣筋に体が慣れてきたところだ。見慣れない構えに最初は戸惑ったが、今ならいくらでも対処法があるぞ！
リョウマ： 言ったな？俺と手イーリス流の剣術のクセは、すでに見切っている！
